Adoptive Families For Children, Inc.
Adoptive Families for Children is a full service adoption agency, licensed in New Hampshire since 1983. Adoptive Families for Children offers adoption counseling and placement services for birth parents that want to place their child for adoption. Our experienced staff will help you throughout the process to ensure that your needs are met. There is no charge to birth families for the services and the counseling provided. For families looking to adopt, Adoptive Families for Children offers an experienced team of professionals throughout New Hampshire to assist you with a home study (domestic or international), post placements, court reports for out of state adoption agencies and courts, as well as for interstate and international authorities.

Adult Learner Services-Community Education
Provides tutors and classes free of charge for adults who need help with reading or math, especially for preparation to pass the HiSet test battery. Provides free English classes and tutorials for speakers of other languages. Provides Project KEEP, the Keene School District after school program for children in grades K-5. Provides Ready for Kindergarten for children ages 0-5, a parent program that teaches child development and provides tools and activities for free for Keene residents (Monadnock Regional School District has a similar program). Provides apprenticeships in machining, electrical and plumbing as well as office occupational programs. Additionally, for those seeking a traditional high school, an alternative diploma program is offered. All services are free except the diploma program.

American Red Cross - NH West Chapter
Provides relief for victims of disaster and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Education and training in disaster preparedness, CPR, first aid, water safety, swimming, and Licensed Nurse Assistant. Holds Blood drives throughout the region. Volunteers provide transportation services for medical appointments. Free services are also provided for emergency communication to soldiers, veterans and military families.

MAPS Counseling Services
Provides counseling services to couples, families and individuals of all ages. Our children's program specializes in the assessment and treatment of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and behavioral problems. Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention
Provides support to survivors of domestic violence, rape, sexual assault, and stalking, and works to break the cycle of violence through school, community and business prevention education programs.
